Just taking action to address the issue can make you feel better. It's hard and might take a while, but you can then make real changes to your decision-making process and build healthy habits.

You prolly won't get is back. But dopamine detox could help. You find this like surfing through the net and porn and masturbation and easy access to food gives you your dopamine fix. It wasn't easy to get a dopamine before so people were motivated to do things before. Now cuz yiu get your fix so easily you u don't feel the need to go beyond and do anything. So do a dope detox, make goals and things to aspire to, change your past beha behaviors. It's a long dry road.

Try let your brain be bored, it’ll tell you. Shut down your computer, your phone and everything that connects to the web. Also turn the radio off. Get a cup of coffee/tea or a beer or whatever you like and then just sit there in silence. Withstand the urge to check your phone to distract you and just bore yourself for a while. Nothing will happen for a bit, but soon your mind starts wandering. Set an alarm for an hour and start writing down what you remember going through your mind in that hour. You will be surprised...

Learn about ways to stop yourself procrastinating. For someone with good imagination and low self esteem its easy to get sucked into, very hard to get out of. There are plenty of guides on this, do some research, find ways that work for you and take it one step at a time

Uffff, disconnect. Disconnect from internet from time to time. Get a book, run... and try to forget , IG,... for a while. Sorry to say it gets worse and worse with years and deceptions, but that boi is under the skin. Good luck!

Man, I'm in this picture and i don't like it. I'm not as bad, but alot of those things apply to me. Thing is I've tried changing several times. I do the dopamine detox. I get off social media. I stop watching porn and masturbating. But i only last a few weeks or a month max then i fall back into the habits. Consistency is difficult.
